Skillup Tech is a software services company. We build and run software for clients, and we publish products of our own. This policy covers this website, our client engagements, and our products — including Sigaram-360, a preparation app for the Tamil Nadu TRB and Group 4 examination. We keep collection narrow: what an enquiry, an account and a paid licence need, plus the study progress that makes a product useful.

This website
If you email us, we receive your address and whatever you send. Our web server keeps standard access logs (IP address, user agent, requested page) for security and reliability. This site sets no advertising or analytics cookies.
What our products collect
- Account: your mobile number (required), and optionally your name and email address.
- Device and security: an app installation identifier and, on Android, a hashed hardware identifier derived from the device SSAID. We use these to keep one active device per account and to recognise the same phone after a reinstall. The hash is not the raw device ID.
- Study activity: practice sets, mock and Rapid Fire attempts, answers, scores, time taken and the subjects you open.
- Licence and payments: the plan you hold, its dates, the UPI reference you submit and the verification status. We never receive or store your UPI PIN, card number or bank credentials.
- Diagnostics and usage: crash reports, performance traces and product analytics events (screens used, features opened), with app version and device model.
- Support: the messages you send us.
We do not collect your contacts, photos, files, precise location, health data, SMS or call logs.
Why we use it
- To sign you in with a one-time code and keep your account secure.
- To bind your licence to one device, detect sharing, and let you recover the account when you change phones.
- To build your practice papers, mark them, show explanations, and compute your insights and leaderboard standing.
- To verify a UPI transfer and activate the licence you paid for.
- To fix crashes and understand which features are used, so we can improve them.
- To answer support requests and meet legal or accounting obligations.
Who we share with
We do not sell personal data. We share only what a service needs to work:
- WhatsApp / Meta — your mobile number and the one-time code, so the login code can be delivered through the WhatsApp bridge.
- Payment verification — the UPI reference and amount you submit, checked against the receiving account. Your bank handles the transfer itself.
- Hosting and diagnostics providers — our API host, error reporting (Sentry, Firebase Crashlytics) and product analytics (PostHog), under their data-processing terms.
- Legal — where a valid law or court order requires it.
Storage and security
Data is sent over HTTPS. One-time codes are stored hashed and expire in minutes. Sessions are token-based and revoked when you sign out or move to another device. Only one device can hold an account at a time. Production access is limited to the team that operates the service.
How long we keep it
- Account, licence and study history: until you delete the account.
- One-time codes: about 10 minutes.
- Server logs: up to 90 days.
- Payment and tax records: as long as accounting law requires, kept without unnecessary personal detail.
Deleting your account and data
Request deletion
Email hello@skilluptech.xyz stating the mobile number registered on the account. We verify ownership through that number and complete the deletion within 7 working days. You can also use the deletion page.
What is deleted: the account, device bindings, sessions, attempts and answers, trial and licence links, and the name/email on the profile.
What may be retained: payment and tax records the law requires us to keep, and aggregated figures that no longer identify you. Retained records are stripped of the phone number where possible.
Deleting the app does not delete the account; use the request above.
Your choices
- Ask for a copy of the data we hold about you.
- Correct your name or email in the app under Settings → My Profile.
- Delete the account as described above.
- Turn off optional analytics or crash reporting where the app exposes the setting; core features keep working.
Children
Sigaram-360 is intended for adults preparing for a competitive examination. It is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their data. If a child has created an account, contact us and we will remove it.
Changes
If this policy changes materially, we will update this page and, where appropriate, tell you in the app before the change takes effect.
